When fishing for carp there has always been the problem of the carp feeling the hook and immediately ejecting the bait. This is why specimen anglers nearly always use a hair rig, this allows the bait to be mouthed in advance of the hook, therefore tha carp does not feel the hook when it initially mouths the bait. The same principal is applied to these match carp rigs but with lower dia. lines and fish in the 2lb 10lb range. The bait is sucked up by the carp with the hook following which means you get more bites and catch more fish.

Usage: It's so simple! Soak your hard pellets to make them a little soft, or buy pre-made soft pellets. Then push one onto th espike. That's it! No more messing with bands.
Advantages: When fishing for carp on commercial fisheries, you often need to present the bait so that the fish does not feel the hook. Specimen carp anglers have been doing it for years! This system allows a pellet or particle to be presented in advance of the hook. The spike holds the pellet firm, even on a rigourous cast, remember to bury the eye of the spike into the pellet, snip back the length if it protrudes.
Ideal for all baits but especially pellets. Fast hair noose system. 3 x standard noose and 3 x halibut noose.
Usage: Simply place the bait in the noose and slide up the gripper stop. Ideal for pellet work for carp or barbel, you caneven try maggots in the noose!
Advantages: Your bait is presented in front of the hook, there is not a protruding band to hold the pellet on, only a fine line. The rig is also tied using a knotless knot so the hook penetrates the fish lip at a better hooking angle.
